We deliberately kept shrinkage and other finishing processes to a minimum, preserving the natural texture of the cotton.

 

For this special order, it has been sulfur-dyed in gray.

Dyeing such a high-density fabric with sulfur dye creates unevenness and a worn look.

 

Moreover, as you continue to wear it, the color will gradually fade, creating a unique texture and character, allowing you to enjoy its aging process.

*Wearing a coach jacket under the vest

The director, whose hobby is motorcycling, primarily uses the vest for touring.

Many motorcyclists dislike carrying backpacks or strapping luggage onto their bikes for one-day tours, ideally preferring to ride hands-free.

 

Since it has belt straps, it's convenient to wear over outerwear with less storage (like leather jackets or coach jackets) to secure storage space.

 

He also mentioned that, depending on the season, when starting early in the morning, it's chilly and he wears an outer jacket, but by midday it gets hot and he takes it off. He's very happy that he can store the jacket directly in the large back pocket.

 

He also said that when there's a little room left in the pocket after putting away his jacket, he sometimes puts small souvenirs from his trip in it on the way home.

The director also keeps his cell phone, valuables, and water bottle in the front pockets.

It seems this vest could be used similarly for city cycling, not just motorcycling.
