The trousers from ANACHRONORM 2022 1st COLLECTION that sold out in their initial release are RESTOCKED!
This time, we received questions from customers asking, "What happens to these pants when washed?"
So, we created a special feature to coincide with the restock.

BEIGE
These pants feature a single pleat and single dart, providing a relaxed fit around the waist.
The wide hem creates a wide silhouette.
The hems are also pre-folded with a double finish.

・・・FABRIC・・・
While the wide silhouette is certainly a feature of these pants,
the fabric is also very distinctive.
・
West Point fabric: Originally adopted by the US Army officer's school,
it's a "fabric derived from the uniforms of the US Army West Point Military Academy."
The name "West Point" was abbreviated to "Weapon", which is its origin.
West Point fabric is characterized by being sturdier and having more luster than typical chino cloth.
The reason for its durability is that it's woven with double yarns (two threads twisted together) instead of single yarns (one thread), which doubles the thickness and increases strength.

Furthermore, applying a special process called cold mercerization creates
a flat, beautiful, crisp texture,
giving these chino pants an elegant look similar to dress pants.

・・・After washing・・・
This time, we gave these pants a one-wash.

The fabric softened, and a moderate amount of wrinkling occurred, transforming the look from dress pants to
something resembling military or work pants.

A slight shrinkage was also observed after the one-wash.
*As this item is in its rigid (unprocessed) state, it is made in a larger size initially to account for shrinkage after washing.
The change observed after one wash suggests that you can look forward to significant aging over time.
We're also excited about the character and fading that will develop as they continue to change.
This time, we washed them when new, but of course, you can also enjoy the clean look in their rigid state before washing, or wash them once to enjoy a workwear or military aesthetic from the start.
