Collaboration item with Nukeme,

a glitch embroidery artist

・

Glitch embroidery is a body of work that rewrites the binary data of embroidery data for computer sewing machines,

directly creating glitches in the movement of the needle.

The artist creates works using "glitch embroidery," an expressive method that involves hacking the data of computer sewing machines.

・

For this collaboration, we selected the "BALANCE logo" design

from hundreds of patterns.

"ARTIST Nukeme"

Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1986.

After graduating from Esmod Osaka, a fashion design school, in 2008, he moved to Tokyo.

In parallel with his work in fashion and advertising,he actively creates works that utilize technology.

In 2012, he was selected as a recommended work by the Jury at the Japan Media Arts Festival,

and in 2023, he was selected for the VOCA Exhibition 2024.
