AN156, AN157, AN166 LIMITED COLOR "NAVY"

This fabric is a complete reproduction of the French M47 "early model" fabric,
produced from the late 1940s to the 1950s and hailed as a military masterpiece,
analyzed and recreated down to its color, thickness, and weave.
The heavy-weight Serge fabric will become softer with wear,
and develop a rich texture and character over time.

The military item adopted as a special order this time is the frequently seen color "NAVY."
Although we typically use "navy" as a word (referring to dark blue in Japan), the word "navy" originally refers to the "navy,"
and because the British Navy's uniforms were dark blue, it came to be called "navy" in English-speaking countries,
and it is believed that this term eventually spread to Japan.
・
The British Navy (Royal Navy) was the first to adopt it for military uniforms.
Today, it is the common uniform color for navies around the world.
・
Looking back at such history, we have adopted the authoritative "NAVY" as our special order color this time.
We hope you will wear it repeatedly and nurture it into a cherished piece.
